Laser Cutting & Engraving Prices

Simple hourly pricing with no surprises. If a job is going to cost more, we’ll tell you before we start.

Prices

How our pricing works

Laser cutting and engraving is priced on machine time, which simply means how long your job takes to set up and run. Every job starts with a minimum charge covering the first half hour, including basic file setup. After that we bill by the hour, pro rata, so you only pay for the time your job actually takes.

Send us your design and we’ll come back with a firm price before we start anything.

Before you send

Your files, please check them before you send

It’s the customer’s responsibility to check artwork before sending it over. We check every file that comes in, but we can only work with what arrives. A file can look perfectly fine on screen and still be missing dimensions, use open paths, contain duplicate lines or sit at the wrong scale. Putting that right turns a short job into a much longer one.

Where a file needs real work, we charge for that time at the drawing rate of £25 per hour. We’ll always tell you in advance if any extra charges are going to come up, so nothing is ever added to your bill without your say so.

Delivery & collection

Our prices don’t include delivery. If you’d like your order sent out, we quote delivery separately based on the size and weight of the finished pieces, and confirm the cost with you before anything is dispatched.

You’re very welcome to collect from our workshop in Macclesfield instead, at no extra charge.

What we don’t take on

We don’t engrave iPhones, tablets or laptops. If you’re not sure whether we can work with something, please ask before you order. We’d much rather tell you up front than turn a job away once it has arrived.
